Conference Theme

Leading change in strengthening our ecosystem: The Healthcare 2.0 initiative.

The Challenge!

Whatever the future holds, one thing is clear – 2020 and beyond cannot be business as usual in healthcare!

This year’s conference is a call for ‘narrative justice’- in shaping our historical present and future – a different story has to be written about the role of non-state actors within a pluralistic health system.

Our Goal!

Join us as we strive to actively participate in efforts to build stronger health systems at the 21st Annual BHF Conference, which takes place from 26-29 July at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

The CTICC is located in the city centre beneath Table Mountain and is only a 20-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.

The Opportunity

The theme ‘Leading change in strengthening our ecosystem: The Healthcare 2.0 initiative’ is centered around an active response to our current health situation, calling the health sector to take leadership by looking at what we have learnt and crafting strategies for what remains to be done. We must make it everybody’s business to strengthen our ecosystem in tandem with the transformational healthcare reform debates.  Click here to view the programme.
