Dr Tsitsi Moyo is General Manager: Research and Knowledge at Cimas Medical Aid Society in Harare, Zimbabwe. Her professional background encompasses medical laboratory science and specialist medical immunology and she holds a Doctor of Public Health qualification. Her career spans the public, academic and commercial domains. An accomplished researcher, her scholarly pursuits include the fields of malaria, HIV/AIDS and noncommunicable diseases. Driven by a commitment to generating local, evidence-based solutions for African health challenges, she has actively participated in many international research projects along with the implementation of healthcare programmes and policies within Zimbabwe and the broader southern African region. Her professional philosophy is rooted in the conviction that universal good health is attainable, and she continues to contribute to the improvement of health outcomes by contributing to the practice of evidence-based medicine.
