Dr Tumi Mahlangu is a dentist by profession, with postgraduate qualifications in interceptive orthodontics and forensic dentistry, with Golden Key Honours. A recent graduate of Stellenbosch Business School, Dr Mahlangu was recognised as a top student in the September 2024 MDP programme.  

Dr Mahlangu has worked as a talk show host and radio DJ, and has served in both the public and private sectors as a dental practitioner. She is a former lecturer at the Central University of Technology, and assisted with the establishment of the CUT Dental Assisting Clinic. She currently serves as a dental advisor at Dental Information Systems (DENIS), with a passion for healthcare, mentorship and civic duty.
