Moraki Mokgosana is a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of experience in the medical aid and healthcare sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of Bomaid, he has been instrumental in repositioning the organisation as a leader in health funding, wellness innovation and strategic healthcare partnerships in Botswana.
He was recently appointed Chairperson of the Business Botswana Health Sector Committee, where he leads industry-wide discussions on healthcare policy, funding sustainability and private sector collaboration to enhance Botswana’s healthcare landscape. He also represents Botswana’s medical aid industry as a member and Chairperson of the Board of the BHF, actively contributing to discussions on healthcare financing models, industry sustainability and governance within the region.
Under his tenure, Bomaid has championed transformative healthcare solutions, focusing on preventative care, mental health support and digital health integration. His strategic vision emphasises stakeholder engagement, value-driven partnerships and innovative funding models to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability.
